Visitors, New and Returning Dancers ALWAYS WELCOME |

The building has recently been refurbished and provides excellent facilities for the community.
Classes started here in January 2005 and still going strong. Classes run throughout the year - even in the summer months...
Visitors always welcome.
The dancers have gone from "Absolute Beginners" to confident "Improvers" and are now tackling some popular easy/intermediate dances. Although it is a small hall, the original wooden floor is ideal for our line dancing.

From North on A7 (Teviotdale Leisure Centre on left) Go Right on the Roundabout - Commercial Road.
Towards end of road (pedestrian crossing) turn Right then first left (see ICELAND) into Victoria Road. Sharp Left at Sign for Wiltondean Hall - Wilton Park Road - to T-junction. Turn left here onto Overhall Road - the hall is 25 yards on the Right (Red dot on map)
From the SOUTH on A7, approach by Buccleuch Road (past High School), turn sharp left at Sandbed mini roundabout, over bridge til you see ICELAND - turn left here into Victoria Road and coninue as above
In the heart of the Scottish Borders, Lindean is a small village settlement just off the A7 road, approximately halfway between Galashiels and Selkirk.
The map below shows the A7 from Galashiels (top) towards Selkirk (bottom).
Turn off at the sign for Lindean - there's a red telephone box at the junction - up the hill for about twenty five yards or so and the hall is on your left. There's a large carpark to the front and side of the hall.
The RED dot on the map is Lindean hall
The hall itself was built in the 1930's and has had several alterations and adaptions since then. The most recent being a new laminate wood floor as you can see from the photo. It is wood panelled throughout.
The hall is well used by other groups - Bowls - Art - Ballroom Dance - WRI - and of course, our Line Dance Classes on Tuesday evenings and Saturday night socials.
Our dance classes and socials can comfortably accommodate up to thirty dancers. Any more than that and it becomes overcrowded. Our class numbers are more often in the 15 to 20 range In this rural area everyone has to travel by car - Galashiels and Selkirk are both about 3 miles away, Hawick is another 15 miles distant (all on the A7). Dancers also come from Innerleithen (14 miles)

Langlee Community Centre (formerly Easter Langlee Primary School) Just a small corner of this building in the photo - this is the "Blue Room" where we hold our Wednesday classes. This class is quite small and the "Blue Room" is just large enough for comfortable dancing and give a very cosy and friendly atmosphere.
Wednesday classes run throughout the year More photos in our GALLERY - Classes, Socials & Holidays
