Begin Again

Choreographer’s note – the dance was originally choreographed to “The John Dunbar theme” from Dances With Wolves soundtrack and performed for a very special local occasion.  This particular music is quite slow and the phrasing requires a restart on Wall 4 (begins facing back wall).  Dance through to the end of Section 3 (sailor step)* and restart dance at the beginning again facing 9 o’clock (wall 5). You will now be dancing to the side walls.   Ending of Dance   - ** dance ends here on wall 8(now facing front) 8  to finish with the last four  beats of music, add  “Right Back – rock fwd – step right side, swaying hips right – left.

The dance is intended for all to enjoy and it fits very well to many other pieces of music - without the need for a restart.  Please do try it (especially as a floor split for newcomer dancers) to popular tracks in 4/4 time.  The music suggestions should give you an idea of the variety of music possible.
