Choreographed to:- ‘‘Dance The Night Away’ (143 bpm) by The Mavericks from ‘Trampoline’

 

Section 1             Right Heel Ball Cross x 2, Kicks & Sailor Step.

1&2                  Touch right heel diagonally forward.  Step ball of right back. Cross left over right.

3&4                  Touch right heel diagonally forward.  Step ball of right back. Cross left over right.

5 - 6                 Kick right forward. Kick right to right diagonal.

7 & 8                Cross right behind left. Step left to left side. Step right in place.

 

Section 2             Left Heel Ball Cross x 2, Kicks & Sailor Step.

1&2                  Touch left heel diagonally forward left. Step ball of left back. Cross right over left.

3&4                  Touch left heel diagonally forward left.  Step ball of left back. Cross right over left.

5 - 6                 Kick left forward. Kick left to left diagonal.

7 – 8                 Cross left behind right. Step right to right side. Step left in place.

 

Section 3             Paddle Turns Left x4.

1 - 2                 Touch right toe forward. Pivot 1/8 turn left.

3 - 8                 Repeat steps 1 - 2 a further 3 times to complete 1/2 turn left.

 

Section 4          Cross Rocks & Triple 1/2 Turns.

1 - 2                 Cross rock right over left. Recover onto left. Cross Rock.

3 & 4                Triple step 1/2 turn right stepping - Right, Left, Right.

5 - 6                 Cross rock left over right. Recover onto right.

7 & 8                Triple step 1/2 turn left stepping - Left, Right, Left.

 

Section 5             Toe Touches with Holds & Claps.

1&2                  Touch right toe to right side.              Hold foot position clapping hands twice above left shoulder.

&3                    Step right beside left. Touch left toe to left side.

&4                    Hold foot position clapping hands twice above right shoulder.

&5 &6               Step left beside right. Touch right to right side. Step right beside left. Touch left to left side.

&7                    Step left beside right. Touch right to right side.

& 8                   Hold foot position clapping hands twice above left shoulder.

 

Section 6             Reverse Rumba Box.

1-2-3-4             Step right to right side. Close left beside right. Step right back. Hold.

5-6-7-8                        Step left to left side. Close right beside left.  Step left forward. Hold.

 

Section 7             Right & Left Slide, Together, Cross, Hold.

1-2-3-4             Step right to right side. Slide left beside right.  Cross right over left. Hold.

5-6-7-8            Step left to left side. Slide right beside left.  Cross left over right. Hold.

 

Section 8             Right Slide (Shimmy), Cross Unwind 3/4 Turn Left, Claps.

1-2-3                Step right to right side (with optional shimmy), Slide left beside right over two beats.

4                      Step left beside right.

5-6-7                Cross right over left. Unwind 3/4 turn left over two beats.

& 8                   Hold foot position clapping hands twice.
